LogDawn for iPhone and iPad

Release information · updated October 25, 2026

Current release

LogDawn’s initial release is a local organizer for tracking businesses, projects, digital account links, ownership, and non-sensitive access notes, with a basic business-card editor and preview. We welcome feedback as we continue improving the app. Keep exported backups of important boards.

Only enter information you would be comfortable sharing. Never enter passwords, PINs, API keys, access tokens, recovery codes, private keys, or other secrets. LogDawn is not a password manager or encrypted vault. This guidance does not make your private board public.

There is no LogDawn login, cloud sync, payment, hosted public profile, QR/NFC sharing, or team access in this release. External shows a preview on your device; it does not publish your board.

Business features and future pricing

The current local organizer features are available without charge. Paid Business upgrades and subscriptions are not available in this release. Any future paid offering will explain the affected features, price, and start date before you choose to purchase it. Using this release does not create a subscription or authorize charges. Data handling remains as described below.

Privacy for the iOS app

This notice covers the standalone LogDawn 1.0 app for iPhone and iPad. The hosted website and Android sign-in service have a separate privacy notice.

LogDawn is provided by Devs from Above, LLC. Your board and card preview are stored locally in the app on your device. LogDawn does not upload board contents to a Devs from Above server, and this release includes no advertising, analytics, or custom-catalog reporting.

The board can contain names, URLs, usernames, contact information, vault names, and operational notes that you enter. Do not enter passwords, tokens, recovery codes, or other secrets. LogDawn maps access; it does not manage or own your third-party accounts.

Files, links, and device backups

Export creates a JSON copy of the full board. Contact-card export creates a vCard containing the contact details and links included in the card you choose to export. Native exports use the system save/share sheet and a temporary file in the app cache, which the operating system may clear. Export files are not encrypted by LogDawn. Choose their destination carefully.

Import reads a file you choose. The app validates it and asks before replacing an existing board. A copy saved or shared outside LogDawn remains under your control and the policies of its destination. Opening a website, email, or phone link uses the corresponding external service.

Your operating system may include local app data in its device backups according to your settings. LogDawn does not provide its own cloud backup or cross-device sync. The app stores also process installation, testing feedback, and diagnostics under their own policies. Our public website is hosted by Cloudflare, which may process standard request and security logs. Support messages contain whatever you choose to send us and are used to respond to your request.

Removing your data

More → Delete local data resets the current board on this device. Earlier board contents can remain in the app’s undo history and previous-save recovery; this command is not secure erasure of all local app data. It does not delete exported files, device backups, support messages, or accounts with other providers. Contact privacy@logdawn.com for help with removing local app data or requesting removal of support correspondence, subject to necessary record-retention obligations.

Future changes

Any future login, cloud storage, billing, analytics, or public sharing will have updated documentation before it is introduced. Material changes will include notice and consent where required; updating a page alone does not grant permission to reuse previously collected data in a new way.

Support and feedback

Product support: support@logdawn.com
Privacy requests: privacy@logdawn.com
General inquiries: hello@logdawn.com

Tell us the app version, device and operating-system version, what you expected, and what happened. Avoid sending secrets or a full board unless it is needed and you choose to share it.

Save and backup

Field edits remain in memory until you tap Save. Export also includes pending editor changes. Export regularly, then Import a backup when you need to restore it. A canceled export does not create a backup at your selected destination.

App license

The iOS app uses Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. This release information and privacy notice describe current behavior; they do not replace that license or enroll you in a paid service.
